About the NW District

---

The Northwest District is a section of the North Carolina Bandmasters Association.  Membership is made up of band directors from Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Iredell, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes, Watagua, and Yadkin counties.

The district coordinates events for students for Concert, Marching, Jazz and Solo & Ensemble events throughout the year. The District has a strong history of sponsoring commissioned works from well-know composers.  Many of the works commissioned by the NW District are on the NC State Music Performance Adjudication music lists.

~ DISTRICT MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION~

The district registration deadline was October 15th.  If you have not registered you may do so at the link below.  Your registration fee will be $50, mailed to Andrew Jimeson, Davie High School
